"The Electronic Musicians Group (EMG) is a network of like-minded digital-based musicians that began as a private Facebook Group, founded in 2011. EMG presently has more than 40 members who work individually and collectively together to promote their participants' work and share in the musical creation experience."
Here on the Electronic Musicians Group website you will have access to news and information on EMG members' latest projects, album releases, and events straight from the musicians themselves. We also feature links to over 50 albums (an ever-expanding library) by the freshest and most talented indie music artists from all around the world. Much of this music is free or very conservatively priced because these are self-published artists who are in it for the love of the music.
This may be the "Electronic Musicians Group" but that doesn't mean all you'll find here is dance/house mixes. Nearly all music is recorded and mixed on computers these days and that is the second most tie that binds us (2nd only to our love of music and creation process). EMG artists work in many genres including industrial, dubstep, black metal, folk, orchestral, chiptunes, dark ambient, and beyond into the genre-undefinable.
